Dominique Ariane Swain is an American film actress born in August 12th 1980. Her sister Chelse Swain is also an actress. She was born and grew up in Malibu and she also schooled in Malibu High School. In high school she got straight A’s. During her sophomore year she commenced her career in acting as a stunt double that was in 1993 in the movie “The Good Son”.

Among 2500 girls, Swain was chosen for a controversial remake of Lolita that was in 1995. The film was later released in the market in 1997. She starred in the action film Face/Off as the unruly daughter of John Travolta and Joan Allen which was a small role. After which there was a change in her career where she starred a role in a music video that is the hit song “Lullaby” by Shawn Mullins’s. Other music videos that she has appeared were “Losing Control” by Sky Parade, “We are All Made of Stars” sung by Moby and Nickelback video “Rockstar”.

She also starred in an independent, low budget film “Plain Dirty” where she played a role as a battered wife. 2000 was the busiest year for her she had like five new films that were to be released in the market and other three films that were in production. These were “Intern” she played a role as a young non-appreciated intern in a hip magazine, also, “The smokers”. The third was “Mary Jane’s Last Dance” where she played the role of an immoral college student; just to name a few.

She was named as the 79th of the 102 sexiest women in the world in the stuff magazine in 2002 and in 2007 February the stuff magazine put her as the cover model. Also, February 2007 played a role in the horror movie “Dead Many.”
