She was very bright considering that and during her sophomore years she began acting as a stunt double in1993. To be specific, she was featured in the movie called “The Good Son” which was very popular at that time. The movie opened new doors for her and people in general started gaining interest in her movies. Swain has the ideal looks as she was chosen from among 2500 girls who wanted to be featured in that scene. This was during the controversial remake of Lolita in the year 1995 which was later released in 1997.

She did a number of scenes, one of them being featured in the action film Face/Off, as the unruly daughter of John Travolta and Joan Allen, who are both famous in this industry. The role was however small but propped her up in the best way possible as she was a quick learner ready to accommodate new activities. At this point in time she faced a change in her career where she starred in a role in the music video of Lullaby which was a hit that no one can forget. This video was done by Shawn Mullins who is also very talented and for them to come together, just complemented everything in the best way possible.

Swain also appeared in other music videos such as “Losing Control” that was done by Sky Parade, “We are All Made of Stars” sung by Moby and the last one “Rockstar” music video done by Nickelback. She also starred in an independent film called “Plain Dirty” and she played the role of a battered wife to put across a very vital aspect as far as battered women are concerned. She has been a very busy woman but 2000 was the busiest of all. During that year she had about five videos that needed to be released as soon as possible and another three were still in the production room requiring her approval. With so much said about Swain, she couldn’t miss this one as she was named the 79th sexiest women in the world in one of the popular magazines.
